I need help with my hair!?

i use matrix sleek and shine hair products. My hair was extremely curly, and i hated it. Now it has a beautiful wave that i've always wanted. But, i'm getting sick of my hair smelling like matrix all the time. I want to use strawberry shampoo :( Is there a way of using the soap i want, without losing my precious waves? and i don't want some funky perm. Also, will it take out my waves if i switch soaps? Because i don't have chemicals in my hair. I've just used matrix for a long time
