I need hair advice . . . HELP ?

i'm trying to decide what to do to my hair. i'm tired of my traditional sleek flat ironed look. my hair is medium length . it touches my shoulders slightly. i plan on touching up the black color on my hair. i have african american relaxed hair. any ideas for what i should do to it after i add my black color
