How to get stop online list requests being set to my yahoo email account?

every time i log into my yahoo email approx 40 yellow tabs come up and each one asks if i want to added to their online list. it takes about 5 mins for them all to come through and while this is happening everything i have open on my computer freezes. it then then takes another 5 minutes for me to delete them all. how can i stop these coming through?
