Do dwarf bunnies usually do this?

Hi; I have a dwarf bunny who is approx 2.5- 3 months; she keeps scratching me and they do hurt. Any time i pick her up she scratches at me and kicks out.. (before you jump to conclusions; i do handle her properly) why does she scratch? does she not like me or something?
